一、another的用法详解

在我们常见的语法中，another的用法多为“another + 名词单数”的形式，表示“另一个”。这种用法相当于“one more”。

another也可以接复数名词，但此处需加入一个具体的数词。这是我们必须重点掌握的内容。

简单来说，我们可以这样记忆：

对于another，无论是接名词的单数还是复数，都是可行的。但当接复数名词时，必须搭配一个具体的数词。

例如：

another book 表示“另一本书”，等同于 one more book。

another two books 则为“两本书”，相当于 two more books。

二、实战练习

问题一：这个背包看起来不够聪明，你能给我看另一个吗？

A. the other B. others C. other D. another

答案选D。因为这里要求换一件物品，且不是特指，所以用泛指代词“another”。

问题二：我们应该说实话。我们不能对一个人说一套话而对另一个人说另一套。

A. other B. another C. the other

答案选B。这里表示泛指“另一件事情”，所以用“another”。若为特指“两者中的另一个”，则用“the other”。

问题三：我不想要这件衬衫。请给我看另一件。

A. others B. the others C. another D. the other

答案选C。这里需要换一件衬衫，所以用“another”。若为特指除这件之外的其他衬衫，则用“the other”。
