李荣魁从事景泰蓝制作已逾五十四年。在这漫长的岁月里，他通过师徒传承与自我探索，在掐丝工艺上独步一时。他的创新手法包括用指甲顶刻替代拇指顶刻，掰出来的效果圆润流畅；他还改变了传统的下掰活习惯，实现了上掰活，提高了工作效率。他的艺术创作包括“一镊子”系列如牡丹花、菊花、葫芦等，以及“三镊子”系列如仙鹤、小鸟、花盆等，这些作品不仅满足了出口需求，为他创造了外汇收入，也取得了显著的经济效益。

Li Rongkui, a man born in 1941 in Beijing, is the third-generation inheritor of the Dachang Jingtailan craftsmanship. Since his early teens, he has devoted himself to the research and development of Jingtailan craft. His artistic journey has spanned over fifty years, during which he has traveled to Japan, Southeast Asia, and West Asia more than ten times to share and learn, drawing on advanced experiences to promote the growth of this craft.
For over fifty-four years, Li Rongkui has been dedicated to the art of Jingtailan. Through mentorship and constant exploration, he has forged his own unique style in the wire inlay process. His innovative techniques include using nail system with his fingernails instead of thumbs, resulting in a smooth and round effect. He has also reversed the traditional downward bending habit, allowing for a compact and neat outcome. Different artistic effects are achieved through the use of loose wire or awl wire devices. His artistic creations such as "one tweezers" series like peony, chrysanthemum, bottle gourd, and "three tweezers" series like cranes, birds, flower pots, and fruit baskets meet export demands and have generated foreign exchange revenue while achieving remarkable economic benefits.
One of Li Rongkui's masterpieces is the "Youfenglaiyi Jingtailan Appreciation Bottle." This bottle is crafted with the highest level of Jingtailan craftsmanship. It features a dignified and massive form with distinct color contrasts. The intricate wire inlay work is vividly done with a beauty akin to turquoise in its burning blue coloring.
